Jo Scott KFRP, NT.Dip, MFNTP

I used to work in the corporate world and had a stressful job which involved extensive travel. I found myself not eating regularly and often grabbing unhealthy snacks on my travels, as I did not have time to eat healthy balanced meals. The stress started to affect my health and I found myself suffering from digestive issues and other health issues. I was recommended a kinesiologist by a friend and was amazed with what she found in my initial treatment and from there I started on my journey to improved health and the disappearance of my symptoms. Kinesiology enabled me to understand and listen to my body, helping me to address physical, mental and emotional issues. It supported me as a whole person – truly holistic! I found, in a fairly short time, that I felt so much better and had so much more energy. The nutritional advice helped me to know what my body needed and what it did not need and this has led to me following a much healthier and nutritionally balanced way of eating. Even better is that I do not suffer from digestive issues any longer and a ‘cleaner’ way of eating has improved my mental and emotional well-being too!

So my personal journey, sheer fascination and wanting to learn ‘how’ led me to train and become a kinesiologist and a nutritional therapist. I love to share my knowledge and experience so that I can empower my clients to take responsibility for their own health and well-being. I truly believe that the body has the innate ability to heal itself given the right circumstances and understanding. Through my therapies I want to help my clients understand more about their symptoms, understand links between symptoms, know their own individual body and what they need to do to take control of their health.

My Approach

I adopt a holistic approach by treating the person as a whole, realising how important it is to address mind, body and soul and looking to bring these into balance to achieve optimal health for my clients.
