What My Clients Say

Annabel

“I have had food sensitivities for years that have required me to change my diet quite significantly but I never looked into why the sensitivities had developed in the first place. The dietary information required by Jo as part of her Nutritionist assessment was quite in depth but extremely worthwhile. Jo diagnosed that I had Low Stomach Acid – something that I hadn’t even heard of – and the food issues, low energy levels and feelings of weariness and low mood that I had had for years could be attributed to that. Jo was extremely thorough in her assessment and diagnosis but not pushy with her recommendations although she made it clear what changes to diet and lifestyle would support an improvement to my health alongside some supplements. I was really impressed with Jo’s knowledge about nutrition and its effects on the body and emotions and she went above and beyond to ensure that I received all the information that I needed to understand what was happening to me with my current health issues. Jo has given me hope that I can get some oomph and pizazz back into my life instead of just wanting to sleep all the time. Thank you Jo for your caring and support.”

“I had a rash on my face for over 6 months that was very itchy and caused me a lot of distress and anxiety. The doctors kept prescribing me creams that didn’t work so I came to Jo who was able to discover I had candida and food intolerances in our first session. Together we worked to change my diet and heal my gut and now I am rash and itch free. I’m so grateful for everything Jo has done. She really cares so much about you as a client and I will be eternally grateful. Thank you Jo”

“I recently approached Jo for help after a prolonged period of feeling below par, my symptoms of which included dizziness, shaking spells and fatigue. With a family history of diabetes, I was concerned that I may have an issue with blood sugars and I was also fed up with persistent hot flushes even though I was six years post menopause.

The first thing Jo asked me to do was to keep a food diary. I made sure that I not only wrote down everything I consumed but also how I felt afterwards. I gave as much information as possible so that she knew everything. After I sent it all off to her, along with a comprehensive questionnaire, Jo requested a couple more tests which included some sensitivity testing and kinesiology (I have been a kinesiology client of hers for a few years with great success) and a ‘burp’ test, she then analysed it all and sent me a full report.

She firstly allayed the fears I had about diabetes but gave me some information on how blood sugars can spike and which foods help to keep these stable. She also put into simplest terms how I could obtain more protein from my diet (in the last couple of years I had switched to a more plant based way of eating) which I had read about but never really understood properly. She even included some great recipes!

One of the biggest things she highlighted though was how seriously dehydrated I was, even though I thought my endless daily cups of tea addressed that! The outcome to all her findings, together with some recommended supplement support and tips on improving my lymphatic system, means that a couple of weeks in from following her advice, I am honestly already seeing and feeling major improvements.

We’ve arranged to check in after 8 weeks and I actually can’t wait as I’m pretty sure by them I will feel amazing!!

As someone who prefers to follow a more natural/holistic approach to looking after their health, when I think about working with a practitioner I always look for someone who is authentic and who I trust. Jo is wholeheartedly both of these but also a thoroughly decent human being who has spent many years helping people to feel their best both physically and emotionally. I cannot recommend her enough.”
